13th Remembrance Day of Late Dr. O.P. Bhalla Ji | 16 September 2026

The 13th Remembrance Day of Late Dr. O.P. Bhalla Ji was observed as a day of seva, compassion and collective giving, bringing the Manav Rachna family together to carry forward his legacy through meaningful action.

The day witnessed an inspiring response to various social initiatives, including 2,366 units of blood collected, 35,000+ kg of dry grains through Ek Mutthi Daan, 40 organ donation registrations and 272 stem cell registrations. More than 100 beneficiaries received free health check-ups, while 27 women underwent mammography screening.

The occasion also recognised the contribution of the social sector, with 10 NGOs felicitated for their exemplary work and 11 NGOs showcasing their initiatives through an exhibition.

A special highlight was the presence of Shri Mahamandaleshwar Gita Manishi Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj as the Chief Guest. He appreciated the work of the Dr. O.P. Bhalla Foundation for underprivileged communities and Manav Rachna’s commitment to social responsibility. His emphasis on “Karma” — selfless action and service resonated deeply with the Foundation’s Karmyogi philosophy.

The day served as a powerful reminder that true remembrance lies in turning values into action—continuing Dr. O.P. Bhalla Ji’s legacy of seva, giving and creating positive change in society.
