Welcome to the official website of Dr. O.P. Bhalla Foundation (“Foundation”, “we”, “us” or “our”), available at https://dropbhallafoundation.org/ (“Website”).

The Website provides information about the Foundation, its programmes, initiatives, events, publications, social-impact activities, volunteering opportunities and ways in which individuals and organisations may support its work.

By accessing or using this Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.

1. About Dr. O.P. Bhalla Foundation

Dr. O.P. Bhalla Foundation is the social impact arm of Manav Rachna Educational Institutions. Established on 11 April 2014, the Foundation undertakes initiatives across areas including environment and sustainability, education and youth development, women empowerment, health and well-being, community development, and volunteerism and social leadership.

The Foundation may introduce, modify, suspend or discontinue programmes, campaigns, events or services from time to time.

2. Use of the Website

The Website is intended primarily for informational, educational, institutional, charitable and community-engagement purposes.

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not:

•       Use the Website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
•       Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website or its systems;
•       Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code;
•       Interfere with the operation or security of the Website;
•       Attempt to access another person’s information without authorisation;
•       Copy or reproduce Website content for unauthorised commercial purposes;
•       Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with the Foundation; or
•       Use the Website in a manner that may harm the Foundation, its beneficiaries, volunteers, partners or other users.

3. Website Content and Accuracy

The Foundation makes reasonable efforts to ensure that information published on the Website is accurate and current.

However, programme figures, event dates, achievements, impact statistics, photographs, testimonials, programme availability and other information may change from time to time.

The Foundation does not warrant that every item of information will always be complete, accurate, current or free from errors.

The Foundation reserves the right to update, modify, correct or remove Website content without prior notice.

4. Programme Information

Information about scholarships, internships, volunteering, community initiatives, health programmes, environmental activities and other Foundation programmes is provided for general information.

Participation in any programme may be subject to:

•       Eligibility requirements;
•       Availability;
•       Programme-specific rules;
•       Verification of information;
•       Capacity limitations;
•       Institutional requirements; and
•       Applicable laws and regulations.

Submission of an application or expression of interest does not automatically guarantee admission, selection, participation, scholarship, internship, volunteering opportunity or any other benefit.

5. Applications and Forms

The Website may provide links or forms for volunteering, student programmes, event participation, donations, contact enquiries and other activities.

The Website currently provides application routes for student programmes and volunteering, as well as an organ-donation registration link.

Users are responsible for providing accurate and complete information.

The Foundation may contact applicants for verification, clarification or further information where reasonably necessary.

6. Donations

The Website provides an online donation facility through a third-party payment service provider. The current Website’s “Donate Now” link directs users to Paytm.

Donations are voluntary and are subject to applicable laws and regulations.

The Foundation may use donations for its charitable programmes, administrative requirements and other purposes consistent with its objects and applicable law.

Where a donor specifically contributes towards an identified initiative or cause, the Foundation will make reasonable efforts to utilise the contribution for that purpose. Where operational or programme circumstances make this impractical, the Foundation may apply the contribution towards a closely related charitable purpose, subject to applicable law.

The Foundation does not guarantee that a donation will be used for a particular individual beneficiary unless expressly agreed in writing.

7. Payment Processing

Online payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways or financial service providers.

Payment information entered during a transaction may be subject to the privacy policy, security practices and terms of the relevant payment service provider.

Users should verify the transaction details before completing a payment.

The Foundation is not responsible for technical failures, interruptions, delays or errors attributable to a third-party payment service provider.

8. Donation Receipts and Tax Benefits

Where applicable, the Foundation may issue donation receipts and statutory donation certificates in accordance with applicable law and regulatory requirements.

The Website currently states that the Foundation is certified under Section 12A and 80G.

Any tax deduction or benefit available to a donor is subject to the applicable provisions of Indian tax law, the donor’s eligibility and fulfilment of applicable requirements.

A donation should not be treated as automatically eligible for a tax deduction merely because it is made through the Website.

For eligible donations, statutory reporting and donor certificates may be issued in accordance with applicable requirements. The Income Tax Department states that approved institutions are required to furnish donation information through Form 10BD and issue Form 10BE to eligible donors.

9. Refunds and Failed Transactions

Donation refunds, cancellations or reversals will be considered in accordance with the Foundation’s Donation & Refund Policy and applicable law.

If a payment is debited from your account but the donation transaction is not successfully recorded, please contact the Foundation with the transaction reference and relevant details.

The Foundation may coordinate with the payment service provider to verify and resolve the transaction.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the Website and its content, including:

•       Foundation name and branding;
•       Logos;
•       Text;
•       Photographs;
•       Videos;
•       Graphics;
•       Infographics;
•       Reports;
•       Publications;
•       Articles;
•       Designs; and
•       Other original materials

are owned by, licensed to, or used with permission by the Foundation or the relevant rights holder.

No content may be reproduced, republished, modified, distributed or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except where permitted under applicable law.

11. Photographs, Videos and Testimonials

The Foundation’s programmes may involve photographs, videos, testimonials and other documentation of events and activities.

Such material may be used for institutional reporting, awareness, educational, communication and social-impact purposes, subject to applicable law and appropriate permissions.

The Foundation will make reasonable efforts to maintain the Website.

However, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

14. Limitation of Liability
