Dr. O. P. Bhalla
Dr. O. P. Bhalla, an esteemed Indian educationist, visionary, and social reformer, shaped the educational revolution known as Manav Rachna Vidyantariksha — a movement that has become a distinguished name in India’s academic landscape. As the Founder and Chief Patron of Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI), he devoted his life to a single belief.
Education is the greatest form of service to humanity.
Guided by the teachings of his mother, Dr. Bhalla envisioned an ecosystem where knowledge and values coexist — one that nurtures talent, integrity, and compassion. His institutions continue to uphold these ideals, blending world-class education with Indian ethos to prepare students for global challenges. At Manav Rachna, learners are not only trained in the latest knowledge and skills but are also encouraged to become honorable citizens who embrace inquiry, innovation, and ethical leadership.
Dr. Bhalla’s influence extended far beyond the classroom. A true Karmayogi, he inspired the youth to take an active role in nation-building through community service and social welfare. His simplicity, humility, and compassion defined his leadership, endearing him to all who knew him.
Though he left us in , his legacy continues to thrive — reflected in the success of the Manav Rachna network and the impactful initiatives of the Dr. O. P. Bhalla Foundation.
Today, he remains the guiding light behind our mission — inspiring us to uphold his vision of a self-reliant and compassionate nation. We remain committed to carrying forward his teachings, serving society with dedication, and honoring the values he lived by.
