In a humble attempt to further Dr. O P Bhalla’s vision, the Foundation started the ‘Ek Mutthi Daan’ campaign in March 2014. Ms. Satya Bhalla, Chief Patron, MREI inaugurated the campaign by donating the first handful of rice. “Till date, approximately 9730 kg rice and 700 kg wheat flour has been contributed and donated to NGOs Prayas, Sai Milan and Naaz Foundation that are running shelters for street children, destitute women, elderly and sick people”, informs Ms. Chavvi Bhargava, who is in-charge of the Foundation.
