“A clean India would be the best tribute India could pay to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150 birth anniversary in 2019,” said Hon’ble Prime Minister as he launched the Swachh Bharat Mission at Rajpath in New Delhi on 2nd October 2014.
Taking cue from the nationwide movement, Dr O.P. Bhalla Foundation as part of its mission to carry forward the legacy of Founder Visionary Dr. O.P Bhalla and the able guidance of Smt Satya Bhalla, Chairperson of the Foundation, has regularly undertaken such philanthropic activities.
As per the Schedule, the cleaning of Shiv Mandir at Sainik Colony was successfully conducted. The time round, the cleaning drive was undertaken by MRCEd Group. The Housekeeping Staff was taken to the Mandir and the surrounding areas as well as the premises of the Mandir was cleaned. A sense of responsibility has been inculcated among the people through the Cleanliness Drive Mission. What is most encouraging is the fact that even citizens are becoming active participants in the cleanliness mission.
Four of MRCEd’s Faculty Ms Rajni Gupta, Dr. Smarika Bhargava, Dr.Tarundeep Kaur and Dr.Sangeeta also contributed to the social cause.
