“Siblings share childhood memories and grown up dreams”
During this week’s visit to Government Girls School, Mohna, the students were made aware about the festival of Raksha Bandhan. They knew it is the most celebrated festival of India and sisters tie sacred thread on the wrist of their brothers, exchange sweets and gifts. However the students were unaware about the origin of the festival, so story of Lord Krishna and Draupadi was narrated to them. This was followed by the Rakhi Making activity which students were looking forward to and it was the most exciting part of the visit.
