mohna-village-8  Session on Cashless Transactions at Mohna village was organized by Department of Students Welfare under the aegis of  Dr. O. P. Bhalla Foundation in association with Punjab National Bank at the residence of Sarpanch, Mr. Ranjeet Singh where people from the local population gathered and attended the session and learned about new ways to minimize the use of currency and other modes of expenditure.
Present on the session were Prof. I.K. Kilam; Dean Students Welfare; Mr. Arun Dutta, Bank Manager, PNB – Manav Rachna;  Mr. Rajesh Atreya, Senior Faculty, PNB IT Centre; Ms. Suman Manocha, Sr. Faculty, PNB IT Centre; Ms. Neha Dubey, Sr. Faculty, PNB IT Centre; RJ Faheem ,Radio Manav Rachna; Mr. D.C Chaudhary and Mr.Ramakant Dwivedi from Dr. O.P. Bhalla Foundation along with the enthusiastic group of students.
The session began by Rajesh Atreya making the members aware about the present change in the society. He enlightened all the present villagers with the new modes  of transactions which included the use of Debit cards, Credit cards, net banking and various mobile applications that could ease the efforts for payments.
A similar session was later conducted in the village’s temple near the market area where another group of local shopkeepers, businessmen, residents and farmers were informed about cashless transactions.
