On 2nd October, Manav Rachna took pledge with the nation and in compliance with the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India gave full contribution for the “Swacchh Bharat Swasth Bharat abhiyaan”. MRIU launched a massive cleanliness campaign in the slum dwellings of Sanjay Colony/Kodi Colony. The entire staff and students were armed with brooms and took the pledge of cleaning Sanjay Colony. The residents were also sensitized and about necessary prerequisites for a healthy and hygienic lifestyle.
Apart from this, tree plantation drive was also taken up where saplings were planted in and around the campus of MRIU. Planting a tree is a most benevolent act which every person must do is what our beloved Chairman Sir always said. In this spirit a Tree Plantation Drive was organized on 5th September ‘2014 as part of Teacher’s Day Celebration. Chief Patron, Ma’am, Satya Bhalla was the Chief Guest of the Day.
