MRDC carried out screening program of Oral Cancer with the help of which early detection of cancer was done . During which, 90 patients were screened where in, 6 patients were suggestive of oral cancer and 2 were found positive. The drive was conducted from 19th March, 21st March and 22nd March at respective places Mata Ka Mandir, NIT, Faridabad, Old Railway Station Health Unit & Anangpur Village, Faridabad and Chhayesa Village, Faridabad.

Apart from screening for oral cancer patients were counseled about ill-effects of tobacco, treatment was also provided for patients at railway health unit. A group of interns performed a nukkad naatak on ill effects of tobacco to make general public aware about oral cancer. For as doctors, we know that an advice costs nothing but a good advice is worth a million so doctors of MRDC never failed to advise people for tobacco cessation.
