Dr O.P. Bhalla, Eminent Educationist and Philanthropist, a Reformer par excellence, who pioneered the Quality Education movement by setting up Manav Rachna Educational Institutions, has a legacy which lives on through the dedicated zeal of his dynamic sons Dr Prashant Bhalla, President, MREI and Dr Amit Bhalla, Vice President, MREI whom he moulded into outstanding educationists and philanthropists. Ever committed towards changing the educational landscape of Haryana, Dr O.P. Bhalla instilled among the torchbearers of MREI, the mantra of ‘creating better human beings’. A multifaceted and benevolent personality, he worked dedicatedly to fulfill the housing needs of the poor and middle-class, served as Director of National Cooperative Housing Federation of India and committed himself towards societal upliftment doing his utmost for the underprivileged and the marginalised.
In Recognition of his Significant Contribution in the field of Education, SaiDham has awarded the SaiDham Life Time Puruskar to Founder Visionary Dr O.P. Bhalla. His illustrious son Dr Prashant Bhalla received the Award in his honour from Shri Sameer Pal Srow, IAS, Hon’ble Deputy Commissioner Faridabad on Sunday 23rd April, 2017 at a function organized in SaiDham, Faridabad.
