Manav Rachna Internation School Sec – 21, Faridabad:
The students of MRIS, Sec 21, Faridabad made a visit to the National Association for the Blind, Faridabad. The interacted with them and tried to understand their ways of living. They also gifted them with biscuits and played with them. The students tried to learn how they practiced short hand and typing and motivated them.
The ‘Joy of Giving’ week was being celebrated at MRIS 21C from 14th to 21st October’14. In connection with the same, children visited Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School, Mohna village, to share the joy of Diwali with them. Students of MRIS 21C presented a mesmerizing dance performance, sang beautiful songs and presented an interesting skit based on how Diwlai can be celebrated without crackers through ‘Joy of Giving’. The students greeted the girls at Mohna School with a token of love – small gifts. The students of Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School also participated whole-heartedly sang songs along with students of MRIS 21C.
Manav Rachna International School, Noida:
The students of MRIS, Noida celebrated the International Charity Day in the school’s premises commemorating Mother Teresa’s exceptional charity work and her words of wisdom. All the students gathered in the assembly hall and Grade 6 conducted the assembly by seeking God’s blessing through “Gayatri Mantra”. Later, the students presented a brief biographical sketch of Mother Teresa and shared her teachings among all. The prominent periods of her life were discussed like her birth and childhood, the call, becoming a nun, the call within the call etc. The overview of her life depicted vividly in the assembly. The students were requested to follow kindness, generosity and be charitable to all. Students were taken to the construction sites where they all distributed the dry food items to the deprived ones brought a smile to their faces.
The O.P Bhalla Foundation and its members have been trying their best to keep up the spirit of the foundation. Their motivation and dedication towards each activity has enabled them to perform their best so far. Further, to keep up this enthusiasm, the members, students and all the associations of the foundation will solemnly work hard and fulfil the objectives and dreams of the visionary and take it whole new height.
